Funds for cooperations
between Senckenberg scientists and the DNA bank

The board of directors of the SGN has made funds available for cooperations between Senckenberg scientists and the DNA bank. The aim is to facilitate isolation and archiving of DNA from collections with high scientifical value and importance. Applications to fund such projects can be sent any time using the following form.

You can apply for funds to cover, e. g. travel expenses or freight cost  The costs of DNA isolation and storage have to be included in the application. Contact the DNA bank () for a quote before submitting your applcation.

On behalf of the board of directors, applications are regularly reviewed by Dr. Christian Printzen (Frankfurt) and Dr. Heiko Stuckas (Dresden). The board of directors decides on the funding.
