 Collection

As young as the section is the collection. It was established in 2007 and contains rock samples from all continents and regions that where project work was carried out. We have about 10000 specimens in the collection. It has the character of an archive and contains collected rock samples (reference pieces) and all kinds of intermediary products, such as rock fragments, rock powder, heavy and light mineral concentrates as well as already dated and published zircon mounts. With respect to our focus, the main collection is specified to as the “Gondwana Collection”.
