PSssst, here's how to apply:

 

The Senckenberg Course in Taxonomy and Systematics is offered through the Senckenberg Gesellschaft für Naturforschung as a two-week professional training course  organized in two separate blocks each containing several modules.

Before you apply we suggest you run through the set of questions accessible through the following linkself test


Please then complete and submit the course application forms. These should include:

  1. A personal statement of interest and qualifications (maximum 350 words)
  2. A letter of recommendation from someone familiar with your professional/academic work

Do not forget to select your taxonomic special interest group and/or expert scientist/supervisor from the following list [Selection list participating scientists part II, bottom of page ] and include the selection in the application documents. You can choose up to three options, please list priority first. We will assign participants to respective researchers/groups based on preference and feasibility.

We will review all your materials upon receipt of your complete course application.

Succesful applications will be considered on a first-come first-served basis
