Scientific collections

Many different parts of on single object can be described in SeSam, i.e. teeth of mammals, bones and skin in ichthyology and ornithology or the amount of males and females in crustaceans. So the object with all its parts is still one entity.

This works with a table which is self-extending after inserting the parts of one collection unit. Each single part can be described after amount, development stage, age, sex, preparation-method and -description. Additionally some remarks can be added. By this way each part of the object is perfectly described.
