Research interests:
- ecology and distribution of red king crab Paralithodes camtschaticus introduced to the Barents Sea from the Far East in the 1960s;
- ecology and stock assessment of food invertebrates in coastal waters of the Russian European and Far East seas;
- taxonomy, systematics, and biodiversity of marine nematodes;
- histology and anatomy of marine nematodes, especially families Benthimermithidae, Marimermithidae, and Rhaptothyreidae.
