The Senckenberg Museum is one of the largest Natural History Museums in Germany and exhibits the recent biodiversity of life and evolution of organisms as well as the change of planet earth over millions of years. New scientific findings in all areas of biology, paleontology and geology are on display.

 Please note following closings:

From June 11: The Reef special exhibit will remain closed for several days
From Monday, 17.6.2019: Some of the dioramas on the second floor will be unavailable
July 18: Ground floor closed from 4pm

The Senckenberg Nature Museum has always been a place to be awed – but after almost 200 years of collecting, we are bursting at the seams. In the next 5 years, the museum will become a place where the history of our planet is told in an even more exciting, educational and fascinating manner than before.
