Dr. Adrienne Jochum

Ehrenamtliche Mitarbeiterin

Dr. Adrienne Jochum

Research Interests

The focus of my research is the phylogeny, biogeography, palaeontology, taxonomy and ecology of terrestrial microgastropods, and especially those belonging to the Carychiidae and Hypselostomatidae. My work emphasises an integrative taxonomic approach including CT and SEM investigation of shells, molecular analyses and histology. Ecological investigation delves into their superficial subterranean and subterranean habitats. A large scale revision of the ellobiid family Carychiidae is in progress.
