Research interests

I am highly interested in genetics and all that falls into this field of research. My focus at the moment are genomics and population genomics to aid the understanding of speciation and the differences between sub-species as well as help conserve our fauna through understanding their genomic data. Currently, I am working mainly with giraffe and wolf genomes regarding their population genetics to further characterize their species. This involves, among other analyses, inter-populational gene flow analyses, as well as intra-populational diversity measures.   Vita
