Networks

Senckenberg does not conduct research on global biodiversity alone, but also within many networks within the Leibniz Association and beyond. Senckenberg has been involved in numerous international networks for over 200 years. In this way, we combine our expertise with that of other institutes and institutions in numerous projects that investigate the diversity of life from various perspectives – from taxonomy and genomics to climate and ecosystem research to the interface between natural and social sciences.

Through scientific and technological cooperation, it promotes new knowledge in science, international and interdisciplinary exchange, and knowledge and technology transfer in business, politics and society.
