Senckenberg calendar: Amphibians and reptiles
The calendar is available in German only.
The Senckenberg Society for Nature Research has once again published a nature calendar.
It provides insights into the fascinating world of amphibians and reptiles. Attractive examples of herpetology are presented on twelve graphically designed monthly pages.
Comprehensible explanatory texts provide information about the special features of the selected animals and their endangerment.
Highlights include flying frogs, lizards running over water, geckos sticking to glass surfaces and the microcosm of the rainforest. Species threatened with extinction, such as the Utila iguana pictured, as well as our native amphibians and reptiles are presented, as are the sea turtles living in the world’s oceans and the primeval crocodiles.
The calendar is designed to be “timeless” and can be used for several years thanks to its perpetual calendar (weekends and public holidays are not marked).
Design: Eveline Junqueira
Only available in German.
