Admission requirements

You can apply for the SENCKENBERG School if you are at least 16 years old and can prove that you have a 10th grade school certificate or an equivalent or higher qualification.

Application

Are you interested in natural history and would like to work with scientific collections? Do you have a sure hand and a sense of order? Then we look forward to receiving your application!

The next round of applications begins in September 2023. The application deadline for this round is 15 January 2023.

Please let us know in your letter of motivation: why are you interested in this particular profession and why are you particularly well suited for an apprenticeship at the SENCKENBERG School? Your application should also include the following documents:

  • a current curriculum vitae
  • a copy of your school certificate or the last certificate you were awarded
  • for minors, a written consent to the application from your parent or guardian.

Since we regularly receive more applications than there are training places available, we will conduct an assessment test during the second step.
