Senckenberg-School

Graduation

The SENCKENBERG School is a private supplementary school maintained by the SENCKENBERG Society for Nature Research.

The final examinations are supervised by the State Education Authority of the City of Frankfurt am Main. The examination includes practical, written and oral sections. Candidates can usually choose in which of our departments the practical test is taken. Written examinations cover the four main subjects, oral examinations are taken in at least two main subjects.

After passing the final examination, you can be employed as a technical assistant (according to the income group TV-H E6/E7 in Hesse normally) at natural science museums as well as research and university institutes. Some of our trainees even find employment at the various SENCKENBERG institutes, although this is not guaranteed.
