River and Floodplain Ecology
River and Floodplain Ecology research at the division is focusing on drivers and pattern of changes in riverine and floodplain biodiversity, the effects of restoration measures on aquatic and floodplain communities, as well as the influence of multiple stressors on biodiversity. Most of our research is embedded in larger national or European projects.
Furthermore, we curate collections on Ephemeroptera, Plecoptera, Trichoptera and Diptera.
