Flowering meadows for Saxony’s butterflies
Adapted mowing can transform green meadows into habitats for flowers, butterflies, wild bees and grasshoppers. In this way, it makes an important contribution to promoting biodiversity.
Citizens can participate by taking care of a meadow and sharing their experiences in a blog on the project website. With the help of an app, the butterflies can be identified and the observations can be reported.
