Invitation to the Senckenberg-Convention „Changes, Chances, Challenges“ 

Dear Senckenbergers, 
 
Behind all of us lies a challenging time that has forced us to overcome many obstacles – whether privately or professionally. Due to the pandemic, we all had to reduce our contacts and it was also not possible for us to hold a Senckenberg Convention in the last two years. We are therefore all the more pleased now to be able to invite all Senckenbergers to Frankfurt again! 
 
A lot has happened at Senckenberg since the last Convention in January 2020: Personnel changes in many key and management positions, the Leibniz Evaluation 2020, the evaluation of our special item of expenditure Anthropocene Biodiversity Loss, the start of construction of the Senckenberg Campus in Görlitz – to name just a few. We would like to take these numerous changes, the milestones already achieved and the resulting challenges still ahead of us as an opportunity to exchange ideas with all of you about how we can keep Senckenberg moving forward so well together.

Arrival and overnight stay for locations outside Frankfurt 

Hotel:                    will be reserved by us for you (please specify room requirements when registering) 
Hotel costs:          paid by Senckenberg centrally 
Journey:               organized by the institutes / research sites  
Travel expenses:  to be paid by the institutes / research sites
